Cori and I were in kindergarten together, and were in most of the same classes all the way up through high school. She and her husband were kind and generous enough to let me visit them last weekend.She and I have talked about this in the past, but it's amazing that two people could be completely out of contact for twenty years and reconnect on a level that most people could never imagine. It's a testament to where we were raised, but more importantly, how we were raised, that there's a common level of values, integrity, and moral fiber that stands the test of time. She's a great friend, and as adults, it's rare to be able to say that about someone you knew when you were five.
