Day 5 - Art Deco

Oxidized copper just isn't used as a building material enough anymore. This is on the top of the Griffith Observatory.

Day 4 - Mountains Majesty

Rain in L.A. equals snow in the mountains. And if you look closely in the lower right corner, you can see Eagle Rock.

All around the Astronomers' Monument are the planetary orbits.

The obelisk in the center of the observatory's front courtyard is flanked by the great astronomers of history - Kepler, Newton, and here in profile, Copernicus.
