Day 96 - Customs House
Designed by Treasury Department architect W.A. Potter, President Rutherford B. Hayes laid the cornerstone for Customs House in 1877. Completed in 1882, it housed the collectors of customs revenue, courtrooms, and Nashville's main post office.
